DESCRIPTION:Brought to you by Paris Area Arts Alliance & Paris Blues Society\n2018 Paris Balloon and Music Festival\n\nJoin in the fun this year as the Paris Area Arts Alliance and the Paris Blues Society host the 3rd annual Paris Balloon and Music Festival July 20th -21st.\n\nFriday and Saturday evenings the festival will take place from 5-10pm at the Lamar County Fairgrounds - 570 E. Center St.\, Paris\, Tx. We will have great food\, the James Hodge Kids Fun Zone\, Market Place Vendors\, and Live Concerts sponsored by Orr Honda/Nissan. We will have tethered balloon rides (that are anchored to the ground and go up about 40 feet and come back down) and a beautiful balloon glow where all the pilots light up their balloons at dusk each night! Bring your lawn chairs and plan to spend the evening or two with great entertainment! Entry is $5.00 per person. This is a family friendly festival\, no alcohol and no outside food or drinks may be brought in.\n\nSaturday and Sunday early mornings the balloons will take flight and launch from behind the Love Civic Center - 2025 S\, Collegiate Dr. Paris\, Tx.- as the cyclist prepare to take off for the Tour de' Paris Bicycle Rally. Entry is FREE! You will want to get there by 6:30 to see the balloons begin to inflate\, launch times will begin soon after. This is weather permitting\,  wind is a factor on take off and flight.
