During the event\, participants will learn about a Victorian woman's beauty regimen while getting to make their own modern versions of at-home beauty products. A respectable Victorian woman did not wear make-up as we think of it today. A large portion of the daily beauty regimen came down to skin care plus the minimal use of natural-toned make-up to achieve the desired\, marble-like complexion that was so popular. Participants will learn about some of these different products\, both homemade and purchased\, as well as the use of make-up. Afterwards\, participants will make two sugar scrubs and a skin moisturizer to take home with them along with the recipes for these products so they can continue to make them at home.\n\n\n\nPre-registration for this event is required as space is limited.
