Every other month\, we will get together and discuss a different book. This year's chosen books were either written by a Victorian author or are works of historical fiction set in the Victorian era. \n\nWe will meet in person in the Maxey House parlor at 3 p.m. on the 3rd Sunday of the month (unless otherwise noted). Our first meeting of the Maxey House Book Club will be on October 19th\, where we will be discussing two pieces written by Edgar Allan Poe: the poem "Annabel Lee" and the short story "The Fall of the House of Usher." \n\nIf you can't make a meeting in person or you just can't wait until the meeting to start the discussion\, no problem! We are also setting up an online book club and discussion page.
