DESCRIPTION:Sponsored by the Valley of the Caddo Museum and Cultural Center\n\nThere is no charge to come to this workshop and tour the museum.\n\nThe Valley of the Caddo Museum and Cultural Center invites the public to attend a workshop on Saturday\, October 17th\, from 1:00-2:30 pm. This workshop will be held at the Caddo Museum located at 1115 Bonham Street in Paris. Neal Stilley\, Texas Historical Commission Archeological Steward and Texas Master Naturalist\, will present a program on Native Tools\, Technologies and Friction Fire.  Mr. Stilley is a highly experienced and dedicated professional with a background in archeology\, anthropology and primitive technologies.   \n\nHis career background includes the Texas Archeological Society\, Houston Independent School District's outdoor educational programs\, Center for Big Bend Studies - Sul Ross State University and the Shumla School.  He is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University\, Nacogdoches\, TX\, with a Major in Anthropology/Archeology. This workshop is free and will be geared to all age levels.
