SUMMARY:Texas Master Naturalist 2014 Training Classes
DESCRIPTION:The Red River Chapter of the Texas Master Naturalist will host two orientation meetings which will introduce and describe the Texas Master Naturalist program sponsored by Texas Parks & Wildlife and Agri life Extension Service.  The first meeting will be held in the Paris Union Station Railroad Depot at 1125 Bonham Street\, Paris\, Texas. The second meeting will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday\, January 25\, 2014 in Clarksville\, Texas in the Agri Life Extension Office at 402 North Cedar Street across the street from the courthouse\, on the West side. Individuals interested in learning about the Texas Master Naturalist program are encouraged to come to one of these meetings. As a Red River Master Naturalist\, we explore the ecology of NE Texas including trees\, flowering plants\, birds\, butterflies\, dragonflies\, insects\, mammals\, fish\, frogs\, soils\, wetlands\, river systems\, forest and much more. Chapter activities now include:  Trail de Paris\, Cooper Lake Wetlands\, Clymer Meadows Natural Prairie\, Lennox Woods\, Pat Mayse Lake Bluebird Tail\, Texas Freshwater Mussels and the Black Bear returning to NE Texas.
