DESCRIPTION:UNITED WAY OF LAMAR COUNTY'S 2026 KIDS MARATHON\n\n \n\n(PARIS\, Texas) -- The United Way of Lamar County's Kids Marathon will kick off on Tuesday\, March 17th from 4pm-5:30pm at the Trail de Paris (Love Civic Center entrance).\n\n \n\nAll kids in Lamar County in grades K-6th are invited to participate. The event is completely free and is sponsored by Farmers Bank\, Lamar National Bank\, ONCOR\, Quality Care ER\, Paris Regional Health\, Paris Orthopedics\, Brookshire's and the Prakash Family.\n\n \n\nRegister your child on Eventbrite at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2026-kids-marathon-tickets-1982972345666?aff=oddtdtcreator\n\n \n\nAt the Kick Off on March 17th\, all participants will run the first mile of the marathon on the Trail de Paris and get their free t-shirt and running log. Over the next eight weeks\, they will log their miles.  The finale is on Tuesday\, May 5th 4pm-5:30pm at Trail de Paris (Love Civic Center entrance) and all the kids will run the last mile on the trail and receive their medal as they cross the finish line.
