Pre-registration is being held on September 10 from 10:00am to 1:00pm at the Brown Centre for the Performing Arts.\n\nFall Registration Form\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n	Creative Drama: Pre-K through 1st Grade\n	Introductory Theatre Skills: Grades 2-4\n	Intermediate Theatre Skills & Performance: Grades 5-7\n	Teen Acting Class: Grades 8-12 (NEW)\n	Art Classes : Ages 8-12 (NEW)\n	Creative Drama: Pre-K through 1st Grade\n	\n	\n	\n\n	 \n	\n	\n\n\n\n\n\n	\n	\n	\n\n	Creative Drama: Pre-K through 1st Grade\n\n	\n	This class will be a high-energy introduction to the fundamentals of theatre. Basic theatre skills will be introduced through a mixture of fun games and improvisational exercises. As the class progresses\, we will learn how to shine in the spotlight and have a fun look into technical theatre with some basic design experiments. Students will get a chance to showcase all they've learned at the end of each semester.\n\n	The class meets Mondays from 4:00-5:00 pm. Tuition for the semester is $95.\n\n	Instructor: Aimee Clair\n\n	Aimee was a member of the Honors College at Texas A&M University   Commerce\, where she graduated with a BA in Theatre and Clinical Psychology. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Theatre. She has acted and designed for many productions and stage managed over 20 productions. She is very passionate about theatre\, helping people\, and working with children. She hopes to fuse these passions into a career in Drama Therapy and has already completed introductory coursework in the field at Antioch-University Seattle.\n	\n	\n	\n	\n	\n	\n\n	Introductory Theatre Skills: Grades 2-4\n\n	\n	Let your child's creativity boom with this high energy introductory Theatre class. We will learn Theatre basics\, terminology\, stage movement\, and improvisation skills\, but mostly\, we will have tons of fun! Students will have a chance to show off their newly developed skills in a showcase at the end of each semester!\n\n	The class meets Thursdays from 4   5 p.m. Tuition for the semester is $95.\n\n	Instructor: Laura Dial\n\n	Laura has been involved in Theatre in one way or another since she was 2 years old. She graduated in 2009 with her Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis on Education from Stephen F. Austin State University. This is her first year teaching at Paris Community Theater\, however\, she has over 12 years experience teaching Theatre to various ages. She is so excited to have the opportunity to share her passion and knowledge of Theatre with her class!\n	\n	\n	\n	\n	\n	\n\n	Intermediate Theatre Skills & Performance: Grades 5-7\n\n	\n	Take your child to the next level with the Intermediate Class. From enhancing basic skills to overall performance   this is the class for anyone wanting to conquer the big stage! This class includes a BIG Spring Production performed for area schools. Auditions will be held during the last week of the Fall Semester.\n\n	Classes are on Tuesdays at 4pm and 5:15pm. The tuition for the fall semester is $105.\n\n	Instructor: Victoria Rhodes\n\n	This will be the sixth year Victoria Rhodes has worked with the 5th-7th graders at PCT. Previously Victoria worked under the wings of the talented and highly regarded Laura Hutchings. She currently works at R.B. Ravens Art Gallery. Children's theatre is yet another facet of the artistic and creative expression\, which Victoria is thrilled to be a part of. She lives with her husband John and their vivacious three-year-old daughter Danaye.\n\n	Instructor: Tim J. Wood\n\n	Tim J Wood has been involved with PCT since 1993 and has acted\, directed\, designed and taught. He has a BA in Theatre from TAMU-Commerce and has completed graduate work there and University of North Texas. He works as Wood Funeral Homes in Bogata and Deport. This is the second time he has taught this class\, and last year he taught Creative Dramatics with Catie Maxwell. He's very excited to be working with Victoria this year and excited to continue the phenomenal program that Laura Hutchings and she have created.\n\n	 \n\n	\n\n	 \n	\n	\n	\n	\n	\n	\n\n	Teen Acting Class: Grades 8-12 (NEW)\n\n	\n	Students of all skill levels will learn something new! From the basics of stage directions and how to build a character\, to gaining knowledge of multiple acting techniques\, to learning how to audition for plays\, musicals\, colleges\, and scholarships. All the world is a stage and students will learn to handle any situation! Students will participate in an open class in the fall\, performing assigned scenes from canonical shows and will participate in a revue of scenes\, songs\, and monologues in the spring.\n\n	The class meets Wednesdays from 5:30   6:30 pm. Tuition for the semester is $60.\n\n	Instructor: Christine Van Pay\n\n	Christine Van Pay has been involved in theatre for over 20 years. She has a BFA in Musical Theatre from Texas State University and an MA in Theatre from Texas A&M in Commerce. In her two seasons with PCT\, she has been seen in such roles as the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland\, Kate Monster in Avenue Q\, and Catherine in Waiting for the Parade. She directed/choreographed Damn Yankees and also directed/designed Love Letters.\n	\n	\n	\n	\n	\n	\n\n	Art Classes : Ages 8-12 (NEW)\n\n	\n	Everybody can create in this unique hands-on exploration into making personal pieces of art using everyday objects and media. Come join us and make an art journal\, a mask\, and find out how to make T-shirt prints and more. Ideal for beginners or experienced students with something for everyone regardless of ability.\n\n	The class meets Mondays from 4:00-5:00 pm. Tuition for the semester is $120 (includes supplies).\n\n	Instructor: Celia Stogner\n\n	Celia has an extensive background in theatre as an artist\, musician and actor\, and holds a BA and an MS in Theatre Costume Design from Texas A&M University Commerce. She has served as a scenic artist\, costume designer\, set designer for over 30 productions. Her theatre experience brings a new approach to art that uses a hands-on method that goes beyond drawing to producing objects.
