Candlelight Tours of the Maxey House

It is said things look different in the dark, and that is true of the Sam Bell Maxey House, especially around Halloween.

The Maxey House will be open late, from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m., for candlelight tours on Saturday night. During the tours, visitors will learn about Victorian death, funeral, and mourning traditions. Tours will be given every half hour starting at 10 p.m.

Admission is $5 per person. If you attend both A Victorian Halloween at the Maxey House and a candlelight tour, admission is only $7.
