PCT and The Paris News is hosting this event prior to the production of "Pride and Prejudice" at Paris Community Theatre.
This is a fund raiser at Paris Golf & Country Club.
In addition to tea and finger foods, there will be lectures and demonstrations. Sydney Young, a long-time PCT member theater supporter, and Ruth Ann Alsobrook a former Jane Austen Society member will present "Women and Laws in the Austen Era Society." Christina Van Pay, director of the upcoming production of Austen's "Pride and Prejudice" will give a short director's perspective on the play. Lequita Hicks will host a demonstration on tatting.
