During National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, our community comes together for the Walk of Hope—a special event dedicated to empowering, honoring, and supporting victims of crime. We will begin with a free lunch at 11:30 a.m., followed by a short program recognizing the strength and resilience of survivors and the importance of victim advocacy. After the program, participants will join together to walk through the downtown area as a visible show of unity, hope, and support for those impacted by crime. The Walk of Hope is a time to stand together, raise awareness, and remind victims that they are not alone. We invite community members, agencies, families, and friends to join us in showing compassion and commitment to victims’ rights.
