The Spirit of Giving Community Christmas Party 2012 @ First United Methodist Church

The Spirit of Giving is the most unique event of its kind. It is an annual Community Christmas Party held each year the Saturday before Christmas. What makes it unique is that everything is free... everything... A huge parking lot in the inner city is transformed into a group of "Stations" that give away household item such as toys, canned goods, coats, shoes, blankets, cookies and concessions. The idea is not to create a charity event, but instead to challenge oneself to let go, give up something for the benefit of another. Donate, new or gently used items, children's and adult bicycles, toys and household items. or dollard to assist with concessoins and purchase new items. Come Celebrate Our Greatest Gift!
