Commemorative Event for 100th Anniversary of Paris Fire

SMILE!  The slogan that rebuilt Paris, Texas and a Great Slogan for Today! This commemorative event will include a solemn Bagpipe and Drum Corp march. Parade of assisting city fire trucks, Paris ISD/NL school choirs, laying of wreath and special ceremonies.
100 Trees in downtown for 100 years of progress: Partnership with Atmos Energy education effort "call 811 before you dig".
Commemorative postmark application is on file with the USPS.  Once approved, a special postmark station will be set up on March 21 in downtown to stamp any mail with this once in a lifetime opportunity.
Surprise photo op being constructed by Traffic and Sanitation Dept. and make a debut at the March 21 event.
