Late Nite at the Site - Family Game Nite

From May through August, the Sam Bell Maxey House State Historic will be open late one Tuesday night each month from 6:00-8:00 p.m.  Each Tuesday night will feature different activities for people of all ages to participate in. Along with the different activities, visitors are invited to just hang out and even picnic on the grounds.

On August 30, come on out for Family Game Nite.  Families and friends are invited to challenge each other to various lawn games set up outside on the grounds as well as historic board and parlor games inside the house.  Try your hand at lawn bowling or find a new favorite historic board game like The Prince’s Quest or Wonders of the Deep.
