United Way of Lamar County Annual Breakfast Meeting
(PARIS, Texas) --- The United Way of Lamar County (UWLC) announced today that their Annual Breakfast Meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 19th at 9am at the Love Civic Center.
The Annual Breakfast Meeting is the kick-off for the Fall Campaign and recognizes the campaign volunteers and outstanding workplace campaigns from the previous year. Outgoing Board Members are also honored as is the partner agency Volunteer of the Year and the prestigious Lifetime Community Service Leadership Award (this year's honoree will be announced next month).
The workplace campaigns that will be recognized and the volunteers who led those campaigns include: Randy Tuttle, City of Paris; Jane Adams, Lamar County; Kandace Davidson, First Federal Community Bank; Eric Roddy, Farmers Bank; Courtney Wiles, Liberty National Bank; Lauren Wilson, Lamar National Bank; Colton Perry, Peoples Bank; Jennifer Ray and Yesica Munguia, Paris ISD; Melissa Allen, North Lamar ISD; James Hall and Tanya Argo, Paris Regional Health; Laurie Redus, Campbell Soup; Clint Cheatwood and Jesus Garcia, Kimberly-Clark, Kimberly Bills, HWH; Kenneth Webb, Paris Junior College; Jason Exum, RK Hall Construction; and Amanda Green, Paris Orthopedics.
Tickets to the Annual Breakfast Meeting are $25 per person or $250 for a table of eight. Breakfast is being catered by Flippen Foodie Catering with coffee provided by Paris Coffee Company. Tickets may be reserved by emailing jenny.wilson@lamarcountyuw.org.
The 2027 funding allocations for the partner agencies will also be announced. The 2027 partner agencies include: The King's Daughters, American Red Cross, The Salvation Army, Boys and Girls Club, Lamar County Child Welfare Board, RSVP, Lamar County Literacy Council, Children's Advocacy Center, REACH Center, Imagination Library, Habitat for Humanity, Downtown Food Pantry, Tailored Rides, Paris Community Theatre, HomeStay, Keep Paris Beautiful, Paris Wesley Center and C.E.R.T. $475,000 of the funds raised during the UWLC's Fall Campaign will go to support these agencies during 2027.
