Red River Outdoor Living was founded in 1997 by Ross and Kala Moore with the goal of providing you with everything you need to enjoy your outdoor space. Our services include construction landscape, swimming pools, retail nursery center, plus Big Green Egg sales and more.

Job Responsibilities and Duties
  • Responsible for working on a Field Crew and effectively communicating with other team members
  • Ability to understand construction plans and job-related scope of work
  • Stonework such as edging/ patios/ retaining walls
  • Operate power tools safely and effectively
  • Operate heavy equipment (i.e., bobcats, excavators, skid-steer loader, etc.)
  • Irrigation installation
  • Removal & installation of landscapes using hands, tools, & equipment.
  • Planting trees and shrubs
  • Excavation, grading and transport of soils and debris
  • Transport and installation of various landscape materials
  • Install softscape, hardscape, irrigation & drainage
  • Prep, organize, clean tools, equipment, trucks, and jobsite
  • Topsoil and grading, sod, mulch, paver, and water feature installation
  • Dig trenches and backfill holes to prepare for construction projects
  • Loading and unloading building materials
  • Cleaning and removing materials and debris from worksites
  • Greet clients, vendors, and other visitors in a friendly, professional manner
  • Other duties as assigned which may or may not be directly related to the position
  • Maintain professional appearance and conduct
Prior Experience
We’re flexible on the number of years of previous experience for this role. We highly favor core values, talent, and interest. Minimum Requirements (Preferred)
  • Valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record
  • Must be able to pass drug test at any time. (Required)
  • Proactive, organized, and reliable team player with positive attitude
  • Must be capable of operating an iPad, smartphone, and use company software
  • Ability to work safely, in hot, cold, dry, or wet weather for long periods of time 
  • Highly motivated, self-driven individual who is punctual, dependable, and accountable
  • Positive Attitude, team oriented, a strong work ethic, and an outgoing personality
  • Disciplined, proactive and excellent follow-through skills
  • Ability to work with a high degree of attention to detail
  • Must be highly organized and have ability to prioritize tasks in rapidly changing environment.
Physical requirements: 
 
  • Able to lift 50 Lbs. or more throughout the day
  • Able to use hand tools such as but not limited to shovels, rakes, and wheelbarrows throughout the day. 
  • Physical strength to perform heavy labor such as lifting and moving material. 
  • Physical strength to handle long hours of strenuous work during the day in hot or cold weather. 
  • Ability to climb a ladder, kneel, and crawl
  • Ability to move and ascend/descend areas
  • Needs adequate visual acuity, and ability to grasp and handle objects.
 
 
Job Type: Full-time
